Myvatn Nature Baths has been created with an emphasis on design that is both traditional as well as tasteful. We have done this to endure that your visit and subsequent stay can be as natural as possible to ensure that you have the most relaxing time possible.

Our highly popular steam baths are build directly ontop of an active geothermal area and as such sulfur and other minerals are carried up in the steam through holes in the floor. The baths themselves are filled with water that is drawn up from special holes that extend 2,500 meters into the ground.

The water has a high concentration of minerals, is basic in nature and well suited for bathing.

Before or after bathing you can enjoy a light meal and drinks at Café Kvika in a beautiful setting with views of the stunning natural surroundings.
