2 Day tour of of Askja & Kverkfjöll
For those coming to Iceland with a desire to experience something really special, something that few other people will get to see, we have the perfect tour for you. Our Askja and Kverkfjöll 4X4 experience lasts over two days in which you will get to see the Askja Caldera, the Víti explosion Crater, Holuhraun lava field, Drekagil Gully, a Highland oasis, the Vatnajökull Glacier AND try out a glacier walk.
Over the course of this trip you will be treated to a wealth of nature and history that many people who travel to Iceland will never get to see. The landscapes will be like nothing you have ever seen and you will of course be left with many amazing memories to bring home with you.
This tour includes an overnight stay in a cabin which has all the comforts you will need to enjoy your stay.
What's included

What do I need to bring
The weather in the highlands can change very fast and it is important to have good hiking shoes and warm and waterproof clothes, sunglasses, sunscreen, sleeping bag. Food and water bottle.
Attention
The A2 longer hike in Askja and the glaciar hike are demanding and requires people to be in good physical condition. Due to road- or weather condition the tour might take longer time than planned or in some cases force us to cancel the trip in which case a full refund will be provided. Personal insurance is not included.
