We will pick you up at your designated pick up location at the time stated in your voucher. Please note that the pick up can take up to 30 minutes.
Then it´s time for the Adventure to begin! Your guide will take you through the sights of Thingvellir national park, Geysir with its spouting hot springs and the magnificent Gullfoss waterfall, before heading to the unbeaten paths of the highlands on our way to the glacier Langjökull. There you will experience a one-hour snowmobile ride on top of the second largest glacier in Iceland. This is Icelanders most preferred way to enjoy the beautiful and exciting Icelandic great outdoors.
After an action packed day exploring Iceland, your guide will drop you off in Reykjavik at your accommodation. You will have some time to prepare for the nights excursion to track down the northern lights.
We will drive you to the best locations, far from city lights which lead to visual contamination. Your knowledgeable guide will tell you all about this amazing natural phenomenon, and you will also get a chance to have your unique picture with the lights dancing above you.
Unfortunately, since the lights are a natural phenomenon, we can’t really guarantee that you’ll see the lights, but our guides do monitor the aurora and weather forecasts closely to increase your chances.
The tour returns to Reykjavík around midnight, when you’ll be dropped off at or very near your hotel.
